We have two very nice Seri Indian baskets from Mexico.  These are made from the timberbush (jatropha cuneata) plant.  The light background is natural color, the reddish amber color is from plant root bark, and the black is a commercial dye.  The top basket is a bout 10" in diameter, $245.00; the bottom basket is about 12" in diameter and $375.00.  Come on in see these baskets along with a great selection of baskets from our Tohono O'Odham peoples, as well as old Apache, Pima, Hopi and Navajo.
